Villago is a two-thousands subdivision on the north side of Casa Grande, family housing on slab with a good share of two storey plans. The two storey homes bring the upstairs bathroom and laundry losses, where water travels through the ceiling into the living space below.
It is a five minute run from our base, so on an active leak here we are usually there before the water has finished spreading. That matters because in a slab house the water keeps moving sideways into rooms that still look dry, and same-day removal is the difference between drying and rebuilding.
Most of these start at a braided hose or a fill valve, which is burst pipe cleanup, and the ceiling cavity below gets opened and dried rather than assumed dry. Anything that sat overnight gets tested before it is closed up.
